Chronicle

Chronicle, a over rated action packed, teen flick.  I give this film a solid C.  This film has been given high regards from different movie makers and others around you, but personally, I would not even blow my nose with that film.  I felt the plot for it was good, but the details were way to extreme.  Another positive was the main characters were very good actors.  They really made you feel for them and their problems.  Now back to the over ruling negatives.  The plot, as I said, was good.  Yet, the details it contains are all kinds of strange.  The main character's relationship with his parents are overwhelming, the father abuses him, and his mother is sick with a lung disease (which you never find out what it is), when watching all of this going on at once, you can't process all of the emotions that you are feeling.  Are you afraid, worried, disturbed, you, yourself can't even tell.  Also, this movie is rated PG-13, and I would only hope that this rating is obeyed by the viewers.  This movie contains violence that even I, had to turn my head away from. The ending (And I will not ruin it for those who want to see it, god nows why) most of all,  there is just, I can't even explain it and I will not even try.  This movie could have potential if the situations and the reactions were just, how should I put this?  Toned down.  I am, and are reminding you, that I am a female, I can not speak for the men out there but for all of you women out there thinking of taking a girls night out to see this.  Please, think again.  Right now you may be thinking that I am the Simon Cowell of  movie reviews but I can assure you that I am not.  I am telling you as it is.  That is all I want to tell you, the truth.  And if you listen to me, I just might save you from a bad movie.
